Well, I'm now the (proud?) owner of 3.5...

I wasn't going to get 3.5.

I can't afford 3.5. Heck, I can't afford 1 book of 3.5.

My gaming group just stopped by, the one I DM that is... They bought me 3.5. All 3 books. They said that it was the least they could do, all chipping in to buy them, considering that I feed them when they come to my house to game. I do... I mean, it's not much, normaly hotdogs or burgers and fries, or sloppy joes and chips or something, but I do.

Not sure exactly what to think of the fact I own them, but I gotta say...

My gaming group is a pretty amazing bunch. Thanks guys! (Though none of them read this board, I'm hoping the vibes go out to them anyhow. )

BTW, why don't they read the boards? I find so much useful advice, reviews, links, and stories that I can't imagine not having EN World around.

My gaming group has fallen apart over the last year.....We went to 4 players to 3 players. Finally found a cool 4th again, and then our DM started making excuses as to why he couldn't make it week after week.....

Finally, I confronted him about it and he said he just didn't enjoy gaming anymore.....all well and good, just wish you would have told us that instead of stringing us along.....

But I digress.

We are going to get together for a solid weekend of gaming in August. I'm hoping it sparks a return to weekly games. We'll see. The same DM guy has stated he won't be buying the books.

I've got them on order now, and it looks like I'll be DMing. We'll see how it goes.
