Well, it's not a marathon ticket, but...

But it's mine! All mine! Muahahahahahaha!

On a more serious note, our theater isn't going to let people line up for hours this year, as it has caused problems in the past. Instead, they are selling a certain number of "Advanced" tickets for $20 bucks, and after that, it's first-come-first-serve when they do let you line up, but that's not going to be till like 11 at night.

The advanced ticket gives you a bunch of nifty features... Free food and drink, some unknown "Bonus film" before the movie starts, we get to use the side door and avoid the mob, give-aways for stuff, our own section of seating all to ourself, and some other bonuses.

Not bad for 20 bucks.

I blured out the authorization signature and the ticket number (But let me assure you it is below 10 :) ), though you couldn't really counterfit these... they are done up on a 8.5x11 sheet of parchment, plus you have to provide a name that matches to the ticket number, which they keep wrote down in a book (But is not on the ticket itself anywhere)...

Pretty classy. For the lucky ones, anyhow.

Kinda sucks for everyone else...

Next best thing, I say.

I'm actually looking forward to the weekend after the premiere so I can take my sister to see RotK since she has finals all that week. I do believe she is a bigger LotR fan than I which is hard to believe. I never catch everything the first time around anyway, especially not being a student of the books.

That is one ticket you can frame and have for a keepsake. Good stuff. :)
