[West L.A.] D&D 4e

Hello fellow gamers,

I'm looking to put together a group of friendly, cheerful gamers for 4e on Sunday afternoons in West L.A.. If a four hour time slot on Sunday does not work, we could always try to meet for 2 - 2.5 hours during the week in a D&D Encounters style of play.

While I have played D&D since the early 80s, I am new to 4e. I would ask that anyone who joins the group be patient with the learning curve.

When play begins, we'll restrict books to the first PHB, but perhaps we'll explore others in time.

One player has signed on already, so if two more can be recruited, we'll start next weekend. I hope to accommodate as many as five players.

I'm not on the west coast so I can't join your game, but I've checked out your blog from time to time and really enjoyed the posts. I did find my ears started to bleed about 20 seconds into the "The Final Countdown" cover you posted not too long ago, but the rest of it has been fun.

I hope your game gets going well and you get some fun times in.

Hey Christian. I stumbled across this post while googling for D&D games in the Santa Monica area.

I just moved out to the area about 6 weeks ago for a new job, and while I've never played D&D before, I'm a solid all-around geek that's always been interested in checking it out.

At any rate, I was hoping you could tell me more about your game, where its played, who's involved, etc.

My name is Anthony and I live in Glendale, CA. I haven't played D&D since the old 2E days, but I have the 4E books and I have been looking for a chance to get back into it. If you are still looking to run a 4E game, and have room in your game for 1 more, can you please tell me a bit about your game (such as what day/time you meet, what the setting is, campaign tone, character creation rules, etc.)
