Uh, I guess everyone is in this kinda post GenCon bliss but isnt anyone pissed off about all the errors in 3.5. Check out the Errata thread in the Rules section. Its NUTS!
Im sure theres lots of factors Im not thinking of but did no one catch these?
Its wrong on so many levels and no one really cares that much. Although I applaude the Errata'ers for their work. Won't it feel more like a slap in the face when the revised 2nd printing comes out? "Hey all you preorderin suckers! Come buy the CORRECT version!"
I could understand 3e and trying to beat a deadline and everything but theres not that much new in these books and they had ample time to get it ready.
On a professional level, there is no excuse. From the lead editor up to the lead project manager or producer. The PHB and DMG shouldnt have seen the light of day in the state they are in.
So am I supposed to shell out another 60 bucks to get the 2nd printing, do I get to trade in or what?
What as a community and as consumers can we do to protect ourselves from this kind of abuse and flat out disrespect?
I am sorry if I feel taken advantage of but I do.
Am I alone on this or is it just not that big a deal and the way companies do things?
