Yup, having read Tolkien's alliterated poem of "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight", I am very much intrigued by this teaser trailer! Especially since it looks pretty bleak and grim. Certainly not High Fantasy or epic.

ART!

Okay, finally saw the Green Knight trailer. I'm a bit of a Dev Patel fan, the rest of the cast is good, and it looks creepy and actiony and weird. I'm in.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.
So far, the results resemble the Enworld stereotype! ;) (Minimum 3 votes)

In the lead are SUPERHEROES!
WW1984 is the clear winner so far!
And people are also looking forward to Eternals, Black Widow and ... wait .... New Mutants? I guess Fox has a last hurrah. :)

But you know what else? WE ARE OLD AND NOSTALGIC!
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is in overall second place!
With strong showings by Bill & Ted Face the Music and Top Gun: Maverick.

But we also love our NERD STUFF!
Dune is coming strong!
And, of course, 007 ... No Time To Die and Godzilla v. Kong.

Also? Mulan.

I'm honestly curious about this one. The last Fox X-Men movie as a horror film is not what I would've expected. It's got stars from two of the pop culture juggernauts of this past decade. And really, if it's a better note to end the era on than Dark Phoenix, that's not going to be a high bar to clear.

and ... wait .... New Mutants? I guess Fox has a last hurrah. :)

In addition to the six I voted for, there are also:

Monster Hunter, based on the video game and starring Milla Jovovich
Raya and the Last Dragon, an animated movie from Disney
The Tomorrow War, starring Chris Pratt
The Croods 2, assuming it actually makes it out in 2020
Infinite, starring Mark Wahlberg

and not for me, but no Venom 2 on the list? I thought people liked the first one.

I voted for only one. WW1984. 1984 was a freaking awesome year for me. And pop culture in general. Listening to Van Halen on my Walkman as soon as I got done watching Dungeons and dragons cartoon heading to my friends house to play in his awesome new campaign from Dragonlance) Yep. 1984 was a great year of a lot of things going on ❤
