Forever DM here. Over 2024-2025, in the four campaigns I've run, there was always a Barbarian. Every time.
In games I’ve ran I’ve seen a Barbarian - World Tree - which I am fast coming to actively dislike. A dwarf Fighter, a Rogue and an Evoker. Other than the barbo it feels pretty smooth.

Interesting. How did that come about? Were they pick up games in a store/online or was there just a lot of changes in your group?

I am currently playing 5 weekly campaigns (although 1 is a 2014 campaign and in another I am DM). I have only missed one of the 2024 games in the last year (due to a delayed flight out of DC). Those two groups have done 5 campaigns using 2024 rules, 4 that are 1-20 (including two ongoing), 1 that went 1-13 and one that went 2-10. I played 8 PCs in those 6 campaigns, including the only 5E Barbarian I ever played who died in the first combat I played him in.

I play a Sunday Adventure League campaign when the DM gets 3+ players and play one shots on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday, not every weekend but enough of them. That is where the rest come from.

Wha...??? 3 campaigns in about a year going 1-20?
How many hours per session, on average? XP leveling or something else?

Actually it is four 1-20 games, but we did not finish them all yet. I forgot the MCDM Lairs of Etharis campaign we played, but 2 of them are not complete yet. So to be specific two 1-20 campaigns, one 1-13 and one 2-10 campaign completed. two 1-20 campaigns ongoing.

Those two groups play once a week for 4 hours a session and a 1-20 campaign is typically around 4 months for a milestone game. It is longer for an XP game, probably around 6 months, but it varies.

For example in one of our 1-20 campaigns we started in September and we are level 11. The other one started the week of Thanksgiving and we got to level 4 Monday, but that is by far the longest it took to get to level 4. Both of those are XP games.

Do you play online and would you ever consider a spectator if they remained on mute? I'm truly amazed at how prolific your sessions and leveling appear to be and wouldn't mind the chance to pick up some tips for running faster combat.

Both of those campaigns are online, but I am not the DM and it is not my discord channel so I can't agree to that. Some of the old 2014 campaigns I played have been posted to Youtube though. I think some of them are recorded end-to-end so you could watch them:
