What 9th-level Monsters Need Converting?

the Jester

Legend
Continuing my monster project, though I doubt whether I'll get many more done before I leave for Burning Man on Monday morning...

Anyway, what monsters from earlier editions aren't in 4e that would make good 9th-level monsters (at the low end)?

So far, I have:

Coffer Corpse
Gray ooze (elite)
Jackalwere
Pike, giant
Shimmerling swarm
Yeti

Higher Level Monsters On the List

Aurumvorax [I'll prolly do this one around 12th level]
Crimson Death [16th level or thereabouts?]
Elemental, invisible stalker [? right about 10th?]
Giant, Cloud
Giant, Frost
Lurker Above [15th level?]
Neogi may be better off around 10th-13th level
Trapper [18th level?]
Vampiric mist [11th level or thereabouts?]

Whisper Demon (PHB IV)
Breathdrinker (PHB II)
Vaporighu (PHBII)

For later:

Verdant Prince (PHBIV)
Greenvise (PHBII, 10th level)
Grisgol (PHB II, I think 15-ish, comparable with liches).

Verdant Prince (PHBIV)

These I will have to look at.

Greenvise (PHBII, 10th level)
Grisgol (PHB II, I think 15-ish, comparable with liches).
Spellweaver
Vaporighu (PHBII)

Definitely in, though I don't know if I want to do any of them at 9th. 10th sounds abour right for the greenvise- I'll have to look over the vaporighu to see whether it feels right at 9th level.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Breathdrinker (PHB II)

Ugh, the picture alone ruined this guy for me in 3e. I'll look it over again to see if I can stomach salvaging it. :)

I ave to find my monster list, but I don't remember anything at level 9. Maybe there was though.

And vaporighu is definitely 9+, unless it got toned down in 3e. I vaguely remember it from PS MC II, and it's definitely a paragon-level foe.
