CG, and in response to the original poster's other question, yes, that *is* because it corresponds pretty closely to my own values.

No preference, though I don't get to run evil characters since my group hasn't done an evil campaign since I joined them (only time they did was when I was DMing). I'll usually play a different alignment to last time when I switch to a new character.

And to answer BlackSilver's original question, that has nothing to do with my view of the world and the way I live my life. I've got a very ironclad and idiosyncratic set of values I came up with and am the most consistent person I know. I've played a character with the same values and approach to life once, and enjoyed it throughly, but every other PC of mine has been very different.

Chaotic Good- the alignment of freedom, liberty, democracy, and mad-cap capitalism. ;) But if I did play a Lawful Good I'm not sure weather I would play an obnoxious Pat Buchanan style paladin or a nauseating Ralph Nader style paladin.

I chose Lawful Good, even though every character I've created since I got back into the game has geen Chaotic Good (that's four in a row). But in the old days, my characters were usually LG -- I loved playing paladins.

My most recent characters have been N, NG, and NG, but I voted for LG, as my characters have a tendency to act that way no matter what's written on their sheet. It's just that in the campaigns we were playing in (an extremely mercenary group, a bunch of shady characters plotting a revolution, and a group in a Dark Sun game), I didn't think an LG character was approriate. Next game's probably on Eberron, though, and I may very well crack out a paladin.:)

I tend to play NG characters, despite testing out as LG on any alignment test I've taken.
