In no particular order:

Green Ronin
Atlas
Malhavoc
Bad Axe
WotC
FFG
Necromancer
Paizo
Goodman Games
Sword & Sorcery

I, alas, haven't had enough exposure to Monkey God, unfortunately. I still want to see Frost & Fur, and see what it's like.

Green Ronin
Troll Lord
Bastion
Fiery Dragon
Malhavoc
WotC
AEG
Atlas
Bad Axe
FFG

That being said, however, I don't know that I mind too much if Atlas drops off the d20 market. They have an excellent stable of games that should compete for my dollar with non-d20 systems.

I have no problem with a company choosing to focus on things like Feng Shui and Unknown Armies when those serve to complement my d20 playing so well.

That said, the reverse is also true, while I understand their motivations given the status of Oriental Adventures from WotC, I can't say that I'm happy that AEG is abandoning their d20 support for Rokugan.

That setting worked very well with d20 and even, I would argue, better with d20 than it did with their own roll and keep.

Furthermore, I would say that this list is really pretty arbitrary, I mean, I could list the publications that I use most, but I am happiest with d20 when I am able to find publications to fit my specific interests and whims so I range pretty widely in my purchases, am happy with the products I get, and sad when a company goes down that could have made the product I needed to fit the mood that month.

With very few exceptions, *every* d20 company I've seen has produced at least 1 gem.

How could you rate the "best" anyway? Number of products? Number of *good* products? Number of ENnies? Number of times Psion and Kushner has given 5 stars to their products?

*shrug*

I respect all of the d20 companies for putting out products for my enjoyment. :)

By ego...and, yes. Creative Mountain Games is easily the best RPG company that ever has, or ever will, exist. I say this with a complete and utter lack of humility. If it is ever again in doubt, you need only check with me and I will be happy to remind you of the fact. Feel free to now discuss which companies might be lucky enough to claim second through ninth place.

Oh dear. Are they going back to roll and keep? Did I read something about them giving up on 7th Sea too?

LOL! You da man, Mark!

Sovereign Press.

Okay, so I freelance for them, but hey. Have you seen their recent products for the Dragonlance line? War of the Lance, Towers of High Sorcery and the Bestiary of Krynn are gorgeous books and very lootable if you're not keen on the setting as written.

I'm just sayin'.

Cheers,
Cam
