What are the "best" Dungeon adventures

Who is this will Upchurch guy anyway? ... :)

Some of my favorites are- "a hot day in La..." very different and dynamic, about the whole city being burnt out and its after math. A prison break type adventure, where the characters had to journey out into the desert to free hostages, the one with a mad bomber who set of delayed fireballs all over the city, the Styes, Kratys Freehold, The White kingdom.

I'll throw my hat into the ring for Rana Mor as well. I've ran it in two different campaigns and it rocked each time. Everybody liked it. Don't remember any Lizardfolk though, but I do remember an Evil Death Cult, and nasty Chulls clunking onto the decks of the boat in the middle of the night! Mmwwwuuuhahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

"Headless" was really fun too. Getting ready to run that one again, too.

Ah, that is another one we JUST finished. It was great. Also, I liked "Ex Keraptis Cum Amore."

Tallow's Deep (Don't have the issue handy)

PCs have to enter the local mine and clear out invading goblins. Sounds simple, right? Not so fast, the whole dungeon is basically one big trap filled outpost. Cautious and thinking parties can beat it without too much trouble, but charge in and blast away types will get ground up in these goblin's traps and guards. I've run it for three different groups and every one has had a blast. Some died early and had to reboot - others found clever workarounds and surprised the goblins from behind. I highly recommend it.

Let's jump in the Wayback Machine Sherman!
Sure thing Mr. Peabody!

The Matchmakers, way back in issue 6(?) by P. N. Elrod. I have run that in all editions of D&D, and for 7th Sea to boot.

The Auld Grump

I'd have to second (or third in this case) "Trouble at Grog's" as one of The Best Ever. I started my last campaign with a converted version and the players loved it. Nothing like a little racism to start off a campaign ;-)

There's a similiar discussion going on over at the paizo boards. Strangely though, the majority of the posters chose older adventures, which led to a discussion of whether the older Dungeon adventures were more adventurous. This board has a majority of newer modules on their list.

Just a funny observation ;)
