I'll throw my hat into the ring for Rana Mor as well. I've ran it in two different campaigns and it rocked each time. Everybody liked it. Don't remember any Lizardfolk though, but I do remember an Evil Death Cult, and nasty Chulls clunking onto the decks of the boat in the middle of the night! Mmwwwuuuhahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

It's been a while since I read it; I had in my head that the death cult was comprised of lizardfolk.

That's what I get for posting at work!

Cauldron of Plenty is in #21, the last Dungeon with the cardboard cover. After that they went to the flimsier stock.

N'Bod's Room rocks.

Nothing by Richard Pett.

I never cared for A Hot Day in L'Trel for some reason, but I do like TJTZ's work--so it could just be me.

Tallow's Deep is another one that blew me away.

(Just kidding about that Richard Pett thing, actually I steal all my best ideas from him.)

I at one time endeavored to own all the "best" of dungeon. I took some polls and did a lot of research. I owned every 3e+ dungeon, and had everything that was even slightly remembered as being good from the older players. I looked them all over and read them all.

Here is my conclusion:

As I was reading through all the magazines, I came to the realiseation that I was never going to be able to play them all. That is when I realised that ignorance is bliss. 3e is about having options. But I realised that having too many options starts to take away from the fun because you always fear that you are never going to use everything.

The best Dungeon adventure in my opinion is any one that a DM gets his players to play and turns out to be loads of fun.

Obviously you are looking for recommendations. And the ones ussually suggested are pretty good. But if you have to really dig to find it, don't wory about it. Mona and his crew are putting out lots of good stuff and so you don't have to look very far for a good adventure.

I will put it this way: the best dungeon adventure is the one that you don't have to convert to 3.5 or whatever system you play, and the one that you don't have to go digging through the hobby store bins for. i.e. the one you you are excited about and can get your hands on ASAP and play ASAP.

Dungeon #4. That stinks. My collection doesn't go back that far!! :(

Beldar,

I believe that "Trouble at Grogs" is in one of the compilations that you can buy as a PDF from Paizo or RPGNow. #4 is a pain to get a hold of.
