What are the best selling d20 products so far?

Bummer.

So I can only shake my fist in indignation, eh? Why don't you fools out there realize how great FTP adventure are? Why?

Ahem... sorry.

I saw Gates of Oblivion and OSM II on your webisite as upcoming still. Does this mean I was hallucinating?

Ok, I'll step in here and answer you Psion.

First off, the website was updated and those products are no longer on it - being replaced with our exciting new Counter Strike Mini-game line and some newer counter products. This will be updated again later this month when we introduce our d20 Battlebox product and something to do with Atomic City! I'd love to give more details on the Counter Strike line but it is not d20 or even RPG so does not really belong here.

OSM II may at some point see the light of day - indeed I hope it does as anything written by Kulp is worthy of both reading AND playing. That said, Kevin has his own timeline [without deadlines or associated pressures] for it and we all just have to wait him out.

Regarding Gates Of Oblivion - the tale surrounding that adventure is sure to be longer than the adventure itself! It is not finished yet and has been through several re-writes after almost making it to playtesting. I wrote version 1, and the Fiery boys seem to take well to that incarnation but felt it needed more direction so Todd took it over and subsequently made it into something Epic (call it version 2). That Epic version patiently waited for the planar material to enter the SRD and quietly grew bigger and bigger into what may be referred to as version 2.5. That was a year ago or so and where it currently stands. It needs a good polishing, but the economics of adventures mean it may not be profitable to print though there are some sunk costs already. A PDF-only release is being considered but we have alot on our plate so we finally removed it from the website and I don't think you will here about it again until it is completely finished.....

As an interesting side note, the ultra-long awaited free PDF expansion to The Silver Summoning was submitted by Todd a month ago so you can look for that in about one year :D !

Well I don't know if activity is an indicator
or even how well Mongoose does in comparison to other companies
but I do know that the Conan d20 section of Mongoose's boards has generated abouts as much traffic as it's 4 other seperate lines...
It certainly gets people over at Mongoose yapping.. No indication of what that means in sales mind you (I've got 1 :p )

Conan is doing very well and is battling hard with Babylon 5 for popularity (I have a feeling Conan will win, but we'll see :)). I can only guess at the best selling non-WotC d20 book, but I think I will be on fairly solid ground by saying the best selling d20 series will be the Quintessentials. . .

Maybe the Scarred Lands Creature Collection since it hit the shelves before the 3.0 Monster Manual and was the only source of 3.0 monsters for a few months.
And the dishonest term "Core Rulebook" printed on the cover didn't hurt sales. Isn't that term explicitly prohibited now for other publishers?
