D&D (2024) What are the chances they will fix the index in the new books?

I read the review of the Pathfinder Updated cores, (PHB & GM) and the reviewer (Beth Rimmels, maybe) said they were very impressed with the color coding, tabs in the page borders as well as... (text references rule and then there is a see book/page "x" right after it). WotC I hope you are taking notes because this would do wonders to organize your books and aid the reader immensely. Well, the book is being significantly reorganized, so they couldn't keep the old one.

I'm not sure having all the stuff on completely different pages would actually make the index less useful, tbh.

I think one of the problems is that the people that write D&D books need to realize that writing fiction and writing rulebooks are not the same
