What are you going to do with d20 Future?

I am going to take a whole load of Classic Traveller adventures (I have been filling in my gaps with the reprints) and throw some firefly into the mix.

Exodus has been discussed elsewhere, but I've got an idea for a game about the distant future, wherein mankind rules the galaxy under half a dozen racial names and earth is a lost memory.

The game would be about learning the truth about earth and the fall of the Empire of Man. Oh... and lots of shooting, too.

Ah, Battlestar Galactica it is then. . .

I still like Star Wars as my favorite sci-fi setting (for gaming at least), so I'll probably work up a d20SW to d20F conversion. Maybe if they make a 3rd version of the SWRPG rules they'll include an addendum on that (or base it on that rules-set, but that's probably unlikely).

You mean other than the monthly "Notes from the Bunker" column, the bi-weekly "Bullet Points" Q&A column, the preview excerpts, web-enhanced material, original adventures, screensavers, desktop wallpaper, etc.

I guess you're right Reg. As excited as I am for Future to come out, it still feels like the Modern gamers are getting the fuzzy end of the lollipop.

I have no idea what will be in te Future book but I would like to run or play in one of the following three campaigns, in preference:

1, Firefly. Scifi/Western campaign. I would also borrow elements out of Full Moon's Oblivion movies. It was about this cargo ship and it's mercenary crew.

2, Space; Above and Beyond. Scifi/Military campaign. This was a great show, in my opinion, which was cancelled when it started getting good. It was about this squad of soldiers, I can't recall the branch at this time, in the near future. They fought a alien race called the Chigs as well as AI robots

3, Earth 2. Scifi/Minor Western Campaign. Another great show that got cancelled early. It was about a group who left a polluted Earth to colonise another planet.

I mean what are we missing from the web site? Map-A-Week? Well, considering the demise of Poly, I guess Global Positioning by Christopher West can make a column for maps.

I would rather CW put them on his web site. If he can't do that, that would be another great Modern column as well
