What are you going to do with ur 3.0 books after 3.5 comes out?

I have a friend in Califirnia who hasn't played D&D for 5 years, but is interested in seeing what the new edition has to offer. He gets my old ones. The other extras I have on hand may become doorstops, or maybe I'll use them to sit my computer monitor a few inches higher.

I have all of the 1e hardbacks, most of the 2e ...

if the 3e books are still reasonably useful (character creation, most classes, feats, spells etc) I'll keep them around so players can look up spells ... might be useful to have a list of spells that have changed and whether the change was minor or major ...

Same thing I did with my first printing players' book; I'll hand it down to other members of the group. The PH anyhow; I might remove the bindings from the DMG and MM to scan the artwork so I can use it on my DM screen.

I'll incorporate parts of 3.5 as houserules, but pretty much use 3.0 for now. Unless I like a lot of the changes 3.5 bring in (and base on my players feedback)

I'm keeping my 3.0 books. I've put too much into the hobby to just simply get rid of them.

After some contemplation, I think I'll sell them for a reasonable price, if I can. I mean, right now, I only play in one game, so I'm not really using them. Even then, I only need my PHB, and then only until July. I'm pretty sure my current DM will want to switch over. I do too, but just really for the sake of having something new. I never used my 3E books much, anyways, and maybe I won't use my 3.5E books a lot either. But I'll have them, and you never know when a game could happen.

If anyone wants to buy my 3E core books >wink wink plug plug<, I'm at least selling the DMG and MM as soon as possible, and the PHB closer to July.
