My "I have no life" list:
Playing:
Lenea, former-elf-reincarnated-dwarf 6th level mage in a howbrew 3.5 online campaign.
Ennis, 15th level multiclass (mostly barbarian) Orc woman out to wreak havoc with her war elephant and Khazum, 14th level multiclass bard based human (mostly) with an awesome dog familiar tending to mess up things for the better in a homebrew 3.5 going PF world where everyone has 2 characters as we are just 2 players. This is a game that's going very slow and intersects with the company of Cyndu setting here and there. We have maybe 2 or 3 sessions a year.
T'Prel, Vulcan captain of an Excelsior-class ship in an AU Star Trek setting. Currently on hiatus, hopefully not for much longer.
Zormack, constantly drunk marshal in a Savage World/Deadlands setting, on hiatus.
Quasimoda, 13th level paranoid orc-drow wizard/barbarian gestalt mix in an "Adventures from the other side" homebrew 3.5 setting that's all about humor and weird situations. I have a feeling she'll die in a blaze of glory in the current battle though.
Quinck, paranoid ex-hacker gone healer/preacher type in a Shadowrun campaign. Slooow game thanks to the players living all over the place.
Welina, whore house owner in a Savage World/Deadlands game, about to end though.
Lother – 7th Day Sorcerer in a homebrew setting where all PCs are modelled after members of RL religious groups/cults. He gets different spells every day and none on the 7th (unless in an emergency but then he won't have spells all next week – this just happened last session, 4 wizards in the group and none had offensive spells that day. I mean, seriously? Sheesh.)
GMing (and sometimes playing):
My main project:
Company of Cyndu, homebrew campaign "save the world" style with 169 main PCs, about 30 secondaries and countless NPCs supposed to run for 13 seasons (we are in the 8th season, each lasting up to a year real time). We have a wiki for this but not updated in a long time as we either keep losing the notes or have no time or are just too lazy. Updating the character sheets usually takes a few weeks, we are supposed to end our 2 month update hiatus tomorrow or Tuesday.
Longest running campaign:
Fair Run in Faerun. Heavily homeruled 2e-gone-3.5-gone-PF campaign. Very first of our mad "let's try and play all the adventures" groups. In this case, with several PCs per player, as there are time jumps in the story. Not playing that regularly anymore because of the usual time restraints. We only lost one player in all the time though. We switch GMs regularly. I am pressured to story hour it but that would take ages.
Running almost as long:
Grey Hawks in Greyhawk. Yeah, that's the 2nd of the crazy "let's play all the adventures" groups. I originally played in this, but when both of my PCs died, we switched GMs "just for a few months" and that was a few years ago. I am pressured to story hour it but that would take ages as well.
Running for some years now:
Star Trek: Beyond all Frontiers, now in season 9. The adventures of the USS Tecumseh. This is a "one session, one episode" game. We only had it happen once that we had to continue another time as 2 of the players are doctors and were called to an emergency. So we are doing something right, I guess. Co-GMing so I get to play, too. Each story has a written version, unfortunately in German and not all done by me. Going slow now. Should probably wrap up this or next season as we are getting out of ideas.
Star Wars Alternate Universe. A "what if?" setting starting with the premise that things went differently after Darth Sidious announced he was the Sith. Going slow thanks to the circumstances of the players. Which is fine as my co-GM moved away and planning this is somewhat difficult.
Adventures of a Mommy's Elf. 3.5 houseruled campaign. See my story hours. Going slow because the place we used to play at had to be torn down. We may wrap up this season unless we get a regular place again. Can't play in our place as we have 7 cats and one of the players is very allergic to all animal hair.
Give It a Shot - d20 Modern online: Slow running time travel accident game, where the PCs find themselves preventing the assassination of Kennedy and all sorts of bad comes from it. May wrap up early this year just because the story is done with.
Wings of Hope. Birthright 3.5 houseruled campaign run entirely in English as a language project for school kids age 12 and up. Going slow. If it picks up speed as planned it may be a story hour.
Where the Water Is. Dark Sun 3.5 houseruled campaign that's gone quite crazy. Currently on hiatus until all our players are back from their out of country assignments. I would so story hour this but there have been few notes so it is not really possible.
And the Angels Shall Cry. Planescape 3.5 campaign. Probably stuck forever as we may lose a player thanks to some "bad dice bad save" results for her RL character. I don't think anyone would want to continue in the worst case.
About to be wrapped up:
Ravens in the Loft - a Dance of the Vampires style 3.5 Ravenloft comedy campaign. Take the published adventures and mess them up. Be careful not to run out of vampires or the job is yours! Online for the last years as the group is in London and I'm not going there anymore. If I get permission from all players, I'll story hour it.
Fires from Heaven, an Iron Kingdoms campaign I took over when the GM moved away. Might become a story hour if I find my binder with the campaign notes again. The side effect of rearranging the house. Yeah yeah I know, computers and all that, but I'm old school with hand written notes a lot of time.
So Red the Seas, a "save the world" Scarred Lands campaign. I'm sorry to see this one end but the story has come to a good closure. We may wrap this one up soon and then if I get permission I may story hour it.
Dreams of a Nightmare Vile, Gammaworld homeruled setting. Several players will be moving/having no time anymore, so we unfortunately have to end it while it is still a relatively regular thing.
Monster, Monster on the Wall, 3.5 homebrew where people from our world got dragged through a mirror into their D&D game – as monsters. This was a side project while our Star Trek game is on hiatus.
Recently (as in last year) started:
All Around Golarion - PF "play all adventures" campaign with 3.5 elements and houserules. See my story hours.
Eberron's Not So Brave. A bunch of cowards get their last chance from their families to regain their reputation and thus their honor and inheritance back. They all end up together. I'm Co-GMing this, so I get to play, too. The other GM is not sure if I should write anything about it in a story hour, as she thinks she may suck as GM.
Songs of Destiny. Talislanta game. All PCs have been told destiny awaits them and now try to find it. Sandbox gone quicksand right now thanks to time restraint of two players.
Heros and Traitors, a Kingdom of Kalamar campaign. We don't know where exactly this is going yet... only one session so far (last night actually). I may get a co-GM so I could play, too.
Kobold me This – Super fast running PF game in a homebrew world of someone else. All PCs are kobolds except a goblin and an orc wizard. Simplified battle rules, which probably explains the speed. I may give this to someone else as main GM as I can't keep up with the pace despite using published adventures as base for a lot of it. Online campaign.
In planning:
Blond, Jamie Blond – Spy Craft campaign. Revolving around the NPC spy of same name. Planned as not-so-serious campaign. I do not have a group for that yet but I'm sure some would bite.
Accidental Heroes – Homebrew. The temple priests pick the wrong folks for a "save the worlds" mission, and if that was not enough, they screw up already while not yet on the road by not going to their assignment together but one by one, thus getting more than one mission.
Trained to be Heroes – Homebrew. The opposite (with the same players) where they are trained up as heroes all their life until the danger is upon them and they are sent out to do their darn duty. Of course they aren't going to be half as prepared as they think.
Double Double, homebrew alternating cities. The PCs will start in one place, then when they fall asleep wake up in their alternate lives and then vice versa until they find out how to solve the issue of the colliding planes. I'm thinking of Cadwallon/Ptolus as cities.
2 self made adventure paths for PF but I need a new stats guru, my rules and stats wiz has no time. So, it is not sure if this will ever be done.
Not sure if time allows, partly short games/campaigns:
Spelljammer published adventures. Been asked to run this for a while. Not the biggest fan of spelljammer so it is always on the back burner.
Sherlock Holmes type whodunit in a fantasy setting. We used to do something similar in a future setting a few years back. Also on the back burner for a while.
War of the Burning Sky
Zeitgeist (really depends if I get the adventures)
Maze of Zayene (missing one part of the adventures)
So yeah, I have no job and can't leave the house much due to being handicapped and sick a lot, and we have a library and a gaming room and it shows. But it is not as crazy as it sounds as a lot of those campaigns happen every few weeks or even months and we have gaming weekends where we often play one campaign in the morning and the other one at night. There are not as many people playing as it may seem, they are just all geeked up and sold their lives on ebay. Or something like that. Actually, lots of it is done per email and in chats.
I need to look into software I think.
