He'll flip ya...Flip ya for real...
4'33". John Cage. (1952)
Cute
You're Having My Baby. Paul Anka. (1974).
Imagine if Anka teamed up with Chuck Mangione?
Afternoon Delight. Starland Vocal Band. (1976)
The harmonies really elevate this song above Chevy Van
We Built This City. Starship. (1985)
“We Built This City” was written and recorded in stages, by an assembly line of songwriters. (Cancer, too, develops in stages.)
Thong Song. Sisqo. (1999)
So good, Sisqo even performed it at his own wedding.
Bonus post 2000 edition, because I refuse to accept the surly bond of the number five-

My Humps. Black Eyed Peas. (2005)
I'd say 5 is plenty for you.

Legend
Garth Brooks- Night Rider's Lament (1992)
Guns N Roses- Civil War (1991)
Danzig- Mother (1994)
George Strait- I cross My Heart (1992) My wedding song.
Night Ranger- Sister Christian (1984)

Seems most of them are from High School and Army days. A time when music and events strike you. Leaving out things like patriotic songs, big hair bands, and classical composers where several more songs strike emotion. I'm sure there are some newer songs if I thought, but these came to mind.

I definitely need to queue a bunch of these up - there's at least one list I didn't know any from, and others where I only know one or two!

Champagne Supernova - Oasis
New Orleans is Sinking - Tragically Hip
Lose Yourself - Eminem
Near Fantastica - Matthew Good
I Get Around - Beach Boys

Wow. That Spotify link works right in the post. I'm impressed.
I just hope nobody has Neil Young in their favorites given his stand on Spotify's lax enforcement of disinformation guidelines with Joe Rogan.

I was about to roll my eyes and dismiss this as a sh*tpost when I saw who wrote it and it checks out. 😆
