Well, I dm much more than I play, so that's what I chose. But as a player, I like to mix it up. My 3e pcs that I can remember have been (in no particular order) an alienist/wizard/planeshifter, a ranger/rogue/fighter, a bard, a monk, two rogues, a fighter, a rogue/wizard, a paladin and a barbarian. Hmm... looks like I've yet to do a cleric, druid or monk in 3e as a player! Now I know what to make my next pc...;)

I DM a lot more than I play, but I do play. I am truly fascinated with nature and arcane magic personally, and I try to reflect that in the characters I play as well. I have played a plethora of Druid/Wizards and Druid/Sorcerers as well as Ranger/Wizards and Ranger/Sorcerers. My current character is a Yuan-Ti Pureblood Winter Warden (Variant Druid from Dragon 311) 9th / Wu Jen 6th.

I love the 3e multiclassing rules, so I don't think I've ever played a straight character class. However, every character I've played always ends up having at least a few levels in some spellcasting class.

Presently I play in 2 games. In one I'm playing a level 3 bard. In the other I'm playing a fighter4/sorcerer 2. She'll level up next session, which is Saturday, so I need to decide which class her next level will be in. Fighter probably.

But as I said in the thread about races, I usually DM.

I took a break from GMing for the past year or so. In that time I've played: Psion (nomad)/Ranger, Fighter, Warmage (loved the character, but not the class), Spirit Shaman and Wizard/Rogue. I chose Psion as I had the most fun with that one (though the wizard is getting close). I'm eager to try a warlock.

Voted "Other", since I don't play any class more often than others and don't really have a favorite class. I can enjoy myself with just about any of the classes. Maybe that explains why I like to DM :)

I don't always play one character class. I like to mix it up. I like rangers, but am really getting into Clerics in the 3.5 rules. Also enjoy Rogues and Bards.

I picked paladin because that's what I'm playing now, (human male cloistered cleric 1 / paladin 6 / fist of raziel 7), and he's the longest lived so far as well as being one of the most fun.

I'm trying not to run him as a typical paladin but I don't think it's working that way which I'm sure the other players will agree to but hey, it's a good laugh! :D
