For your PC either follow the mounted feats chain and plan on lancing your opponents, possibly from above (via flight of a big jump).

No doubt this is an old idea, but I've been thinking about those elven archer clerics of Shevarash, and wondered about taking a level of monk at 1st level, putting almost everything into DEX and WIS for an AC of 18 or 19 (if a Wild Elf from FRCS) and advancing as an unarmoured cleric from then on.heh, I'd be exactly what Numion mentioned.
