Augh... I've actually been thinking about making a thread pointing out how much of a problem WIZARDS are (I would like to also include Wizard fans but that seemed gauche so I will abstained from mentionning them).Fighters are what the arguments are about, but the cause of all arguments and strife is the Wizard.
That's just 1 build though.Still genuinely surprised how low Warlock is.
I've seen numerous people on multiple forums constantly complain about Hexblade and how it "ruins" the game etc. By the way people talk about it, you'd think Hexblade was one of the greatest blights on the game.
that's a fair pointI don't think there was much argument on the ranger and more disagreement on how to implement it (whether to create a new subsystem, enhance the exploration pillar, buff skills, or just buff ranger magic)
It's far different from fighter, wizard, monk, or even warlord and psion discussion.
I personally see the Bladesingers' updated Extra Attack feature to be a nice/decent way of doing part of the Gish's schtick in 5E. Smite is cool too though. The best form of 'Magic+Something' in the game is the Paladin's smite, really.
They stopped sucking in 4e. It's basically a sigh of relief that that didn't get reverted with all the 'Make Paladin's LG party dictators again' stuff that was going around in Next Discussion.I think the biggest success of 5e is how low Paladin seems to be on the list of concerns.
