What class has changed the least through the editions?

The other big change to clerics was just in the quality of their spell lists. There's really not much in oAD&D that you want to cast. It gets better as time goes on.

e.g. Chant - a second level spell that was like bless - took 10 rounds (1 turn) to cast!

Cheers!

Is everyone forgetting that non-fighter classes suddenly get multiple attacks where they had none before? That school specialization itself is a change, since you no longer just lose your " opposed " school? I really don't get how fighters could have possibly changed more than any other class.

d10 HP? Check.
Best Attack Progression? Check.
All Armour and Shields? Check.
Lots of Weapons? Check.
Most Attacks at High Level? Check.

There only difference is that they get bonus feats, which is one change, and every other class has at least two differencent or new abilities.
