Knightfall

World of Kulan DM
Another multiple choice D&D poll. We all know the books we have and can't do without. But what about the upcoming D&D 3.5E titles.

Which ones are you looking forward too (including minis)? And which ones will you buy, regardless of compatibilities issues if you're staying with 3E?

NOTE: Both Unapproachable East and Ghostwalk have been included becuase they're likely to be designed with 3.5E compatiblity in mind.

Cheers!

The Revised Monster Manual, The Draconomicon, Forgotten Realms: Underdark, and Forgotten Realms: Unapproachable East. I really like the Forgotten Realms books, they're generally top quality. I am interested in seeing the new approach to monsters, and I like the new Pit Fiend enough to make it likely I will buy the book. And I love Dragons, so the Draconomicon is a definite must buy for me. I just hope it will be worth it.

I can't really say I'm looking forward to 3.5E anymore, so I'm very unsure as to whether or not I will buy the Revised PHB and DMG. I'll wait and see how 3.5E turns out, and I'm definitely not buying them the moment they hit stores.

I only picked the PHB. The other 2 core books aren't going to change as much in content, I don't think. And is it just me, or is WotC running out of supplement ideas...

I'm just waiting for the d20 stuff from S&SS to come out after 3.5. :) But certainly Dragonlance and Draconicon have my votes. (Along with the core revisions.)

Core Rulebooks, the Miniature's Handbook and the Complete Warrior are my must-haves.

The miniatures themselves sound pretty neat (I hate painting) but the random packaging pretty much ruined it for me.

The Dracobook - maybe. But do 3e dragons really need more power and more versitility...?

Dragonlance I don't even recognize anymore and Ghostwalk is too limited in scope and too esoteric for my liking. A more general "play an undead" campaign would have had more appeal IMO. :p

Cheers,

A'koss.

the things that made me "cool!!!" are the BoED and the minis entry pack...

I mean I'll get the revised cores, and probably the underdark book and maybe some others, but those are the two that I'm most looking forward to. I suspect the minis will revolutionise my gaming...

Looking forward to just the two Fogotten Relms books. All the others I couldn't give two sheets about.

I voted for those I will buy. The revised books, the exalted deeds, warrior book, FR books, and the Dragon book. I also put Ghostwalk, since it looks interesting and just may get it.
