What d20 books do you find invaluable?

  • Unearthed Arcana — I have a number of campaign models inspired by options in there that are just kind of kicking around in my head.
  • Complete Book of Eldritch Might — Serves all my arcane splatbook needs and then some.
  • Grim Tales — Seeping into my Eberron PbP ever so slightly and would probably have a large influence on my next RL campaign in conjunction with UA.
  • Manual of the Planes, Beyond Countless Doorways, Planar Factions, A DM's Directory to Demiplanes — Really, I'm going to run that planar game I keep on thinking of. No, really.
  • The AD&D 2e HR series (at least the ones I own) — Same as GT and UA, only these tend to swing me away from fantasy and back towards some level of historical realism. Imagine that. :p

Arcana Unearthed -- stripped out all the setting material and rewrote the relations between the races, but the core material is used as the basis of my current campaign.

Book of the Righteous -- fantastic material, not just for the pantheon presented, but for thinking about the place of religion in gaming worlds in general. Fantastic stuff!

Complete Book of Eldritch Might -- love the classes, love the spells, love the PrCs; not wild about the Planes, but that is common to all books that way.

Unearthed Arcana
Torn Asunder - gotta love crits
Elements of Magic Revised - every game I'm in now uses this
Birthright Campaign Setting - updated to 3.5
Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting
