What d20 PDFs do you regret not picking up?

pdfs are the perfect situation, though. All they need to do is modify the file slightly so it doesn't sport the d20 logo, and they can continue to sell it under the OGL.

 Why would they be gone gone? That should only apply to print products.

In some cases, it's more than just removing the d20 logo. Publishers would have to remove and revise text as well, including compatability claims with D&D or d20 Modern and WotC trademarks allowed under the d20 license, references to core rulebook chapters by name, "Requires the D&D Player's Handbook/d20 Modern Core Rulebook/a core rulebook published by Wizards of the Coast", etc.

And if the publisher wants to continue a brand or product line under the GSL, they can no longer continue to sell products using a different rules system that competes with 4e, which is why Goodman stopped selling 3.5e DCCs, so they can produce 4e DCCs.

Well, some publishers are going pure OGL, but others didn't seem to think it worth their while to remove the logo and make other text changes. And the DCCs may have some GSL "product line conversion" issue. But yeah.

I maybe regret not getting Frost & Fur and Stone & Steel (or whatever it's called) since I didn't know they were disappearing. But I picked up a lot of DCCs, the 2 Hot Pursuit titles from Adamant (after getting some of their other stuff earlier), and a few Necro things just in case (turns out those have gone OGL largely).

I regret not picking up Aerial Adventure Guide: Sky Captain's Handbook by Goodman and Dungeonworks by Fantasy Flight Games.

I also regret buying DCC 51.5, because I forgot that I had already picked it up when Goodman generously offered it for free RPG day :o

Mongoose originally said they would let them drop instead of putting in the work to do that, then changed all the files and did not let them drop.:)

Goodman, Troll Lords, and Adamant said they would retire them. I don't know why they wouldn't adjust the pdf files for the product lines they are not planning on doing under the GSL. Though I expect with Goodman's recently released 4e DCC Dungeon Denizens that they anounced would be under the GSL the OGL DCCs have to be dropped.

FFG I haven't heard whether they are gone for good or just down until they remove the logos.

FFE went down years ago I expect over collapse of the company or succeeding companies.

Wilderlands of High Fantasy stuff by Necromancer went down months ago, though I don't know if that is from separate licensing issues.

Emerald Press said he no longer had the original working files so he would drop them and release the contents back to the original authors to use as they would. He had them up for free for the last couple of weeks.

Highmoon said those would return once he got the files changed to drop the logo so there is future hope for Frost and Fur and Stone and Steel. The part there you should be regretting is not taking advantage of the $1 Hannukah sale for those two excellent full size hardcover books.:)
