What day of the week do you schedule your game nights? It's a multiple-choice poll, in case you:
  • play in more than one regularly-scheduled game,
  • alternate your game days,
  • want to give Tuesday some love, or
  • you hate straightforward survey responses.

D&D live is generally every-other Saturday, but we do 10+ hours per session so it is more than worth it.
Most Sundays is D&D (right now Shadowrun) online for about 4 hours.

With the holidays, not much at all right now... but in the next week or so it should pick up again. :)

I play in one gaming group that meets on Friday (5E D&D, with the occasional Call of Cthulhu game mixed in), and I DM another group on Sunday nights (5E D&D). We're strictly on Roll20 for now, and honestly? It's a lot easier to schedule games without having to deal with parking, babysitters, and commuting across town.

My IRL game (currently on Zoom/Teams due to the pandemic, which I LOATHE ) is Tuesday Nights (there's your Tuesday love!) and has been for 8 years or so, with very few misses. Before that, it was Wednesday. Otherwise, I run and play PBP games here at all hours of the day, every day, as often as I can. I can't get enough of D&D. Pre-Pandemic I also ran Friday nights, and the occasional Saturday afternoon, at my FLGS.

Sundays now, but you've made me look back at my evolution of days:

High School Days: church was in-town, so went straight from there to a buddy's house for Sunday afternoon gaming. From time to time, we'd pull an all-nighter on Saturdays with a sleepover.

College Days: similar routine to high school days. All-nighters were more common in the dorm days. Had a better chance of being sober on a Sunday afternoon than a Saturday, maybe?

Post-grad Days: Thursday evenings. That's what worked best for everyone. No magic formula. Could've easily been any other day.

Working man days: Sunday afternoons. Even after getting married, kids, it's worked best, even when I have to travel for work on a Sunday. I think that's because, for me, if something big is planned, it usually happens on a Saturday.

Currently I play in two groups on Fridays. One week I'm the GM for group A. The next week I'm a player in Group B. I really like that arrangement. I get to role-play every Friday but I'm not always the GM.

Technically I play in two groups (with significant overlap), both on Thursday nights alternating fortnightly. At the start of first lockdown, we split into two separate nights, but that only lasted a few weeks before we had to go back to single a single night (a couple of players' significant others objected and another guy did not want to do two nights once gold courses reopened...).
