D&D General What Day(s) of the Week Do You Game On?

While most other days are relatively even, I've noticed nearly half the votes are for Saturdays.

Reasons:

Friday night is "date night".
First day of the week without school (or work, LOL).
Sundays are for church (D&D is not satanic , mom!) or sports (football!!!! ) or just plain sleep due to staying up to 3 AM playing Saturday night.

Note this poll has (for some strange reason) two Sunday options. Combining the votes for those puts Sunday (24) just behind Saturday (29) as I type this.

Well, that makes the poll pretty messed up really as you don't know if people are voting it the first time, the second (as I did), or both...

In the Before Times, we would game on alternating Saturdays and Sundays, under different GMs, to give the GM a break; now, still same, but I've only gamed a few times due to Quarantine, and lately since the numbers in my locale have JUMPED THROUGH THE DAMNED ROOF, it's gone to "not at all." I'm watching vaccine news for both genuine concern and selfishness, not ashamed to admit. I've done Telegaming before, and it's just not the same; and my group doesn't have a Critical Role-sized studio. So, we wait.

Back in my heyday, it was Saturday - didn't have a car or errands that needed to be run, so off it was to play D&D!

Nowadays, I prefer Sunday - though I do have a biweekly Saturday game. But nowadays I need Saturday to catch up on those things I couldn't get to because <job>.

I have two weekly recurring groups. One meets Tuesday evenings and one meets Wednesday evenings. I've been gaming regularly on Wednesday nights since 2000, with players rotating in and out over the years. My Tuesday night group actually split off from the Wednesday group about ten years ago and is basically the same group of individuals ever since.
