Boyohboy, do I miss the sharp edged dice!

I took out my fav, purple transparent, wax-filled, sharp-edged dice and rolled it alongside another d20.

Do the sharp edges ever cut back on the bounce! The sharp-edged dice only rolled half the distance, and with our constantly boinging, rolling off the table regular dice, I have to admit, that it's nice to not have to worry about my dice making it across the room.

I, too, also want to put in for more translucent or transparent jewel-toned colors. Those are my faves.

Course, we don't get much dice selection up here ... and the Amythest Dwarven Dice my BF ordered for me two years ago for Christmas never came!!!

I third the motion for full size dwarven stones. In particular, hematite. I'd also like a d1. Not a d2 with two ones on it, but a d1. Not a transparent d2 with one one on it, but a d1. Why? I dunno. Maybe just because.

I believe they do on occasion, yes. I know the cost for creating larger dwarven stones is part of the problem, but we can still want 'em, can't we ?

As for the Werewolf/Scorch dice, I only have a couple of d10's that I found languishing in the loose dice bins at my favorite hobby shop. I carry one with me to all our sessions, and my oldest son has the other in his dice collection. I think they are easily the coolest speckled dice ever made. Hopefully Chessex will add them to the production list for 2003...they were on a list of possibles that didn't find their way into being this year.

Getting serious again, how about a cube with an LCD display on each side? You program it through a wireless link with your computer with the number range and curve desired. Such as, say, a d6 bell curve or a 3-18 linear.

How does that sound.

Stainless Steel with that burnished look would be neat.

I personally would like to see the return of some of the color combos that Chessex was putting out there for a while. It began all those years ago with the elemental set and then went crazy. I loved all of them.

Also, alternative inking! White and black are boring! One of my favorite d20s is this speckled brown/white/tan with yellow ink. And my speckled red/black/green with a putrescent green ink is pretty cool too.
