What did you watch (or read) for Halloween?

I watched John Carpenter's remake of The Thing. Still one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. Oh man, when Kurt Russell's administering the "blood test", and you know it's gonna be one of them, and it still scares the crap out of you!

Now that I think about it, I should have made it a double bill with Blair Witch. I know the movie's hokey and all, but I've had this deep fear of being lost (especially outdoors) since I was a child, so that movie effected me in nightmarish ways.

Ah, I forgot; I watched that maybe a week before Halloween. I hadn't ever seen it all the way through.

Yep!

By the way, in the original Halloween -- also by John Carpenter, of course -- the movie they're watching is the original version of The Thing.

I didn't actually watch anything for Halloween, except the ATHF marathon.

I did watch Bram Stroker's Dracula on Election Night, so as to not get distracted by the returns and whatnot. I know it's not the most faithful version, but it's rather fun.
