These were a running joke between DM Kuntz and Gary when he was playing. I think Rob kept giving Gary henchmen with the -igby element to mess with him, but Gary turned the tabled by embracing it and naming even more characters that way.dcas said:Don't forget the "-igby" names: Bigby, Riggby, Zigby, Digby, and Sigby Grigbyson!

rounser said:Maybe just borrow the good bits from each setting, maybe mess with the names a bit if it's hard to accept Vecna, Lord Soth and the Cult of the Dragon having a tea party, and dump them in your homebrew. The canon police won't arrest anyone because they don't exist.
Voadam said:No, no, no. Soth and Vecna are both dark lords and therefore can't leave their own areas to visit each other in person. Vecna might be able to send a simulacrum or something like that though and a cultist could show up in any domain, so it would have to be Vecna's avatar, soth, and a cultist at the time period of the end of 2e is perfectly canon appropriate. Anything else would be just ridiculous.![]()
Sigdel said:But you forget that Vecna escaped RL when WotC left it for dead in the 3.0 changeover and Soth was brought back to DL so Weiss and Hickman could kill him off.
