What Didn't We get for 3.5 Miniatures?

Okay. 4e is coming and the the Deserts of Desolation was the last "3.5" set. The Dungeons of Dread set are next (2.0 DDM rules and 4.0 design wise).

What creatures of 3.5 did we not get that we (you) wanted?

Dragon, Blue Medium
Githyanki Knight (solo- not on a Dragon)
Hydra
Zelekhut
Mohrg
Naga, Spirit
Remorhaz
Rust Monster (how they skipped this I know...)
Swarm, Centipede
Swarm, Locust
Swarm, Scorpion (what can I say- Darksun fan)
Zombie (size Large)
Centipede, Monstrous, large

Warforged Charger
Blackguard in Demon Plate
Bone Knight
Living Spells



what did others want to see? Will we see them in 4.0 or will they be very different (like the Gren Dragon?)

WotC hit most of the high points for me, with one major exception:

Aboleth!

After making them awesome and Lovecraftian in Lords of Madness, its loss was more significant. Reaper did rise to the bait, though, so they do exist in miniatures form, at least!

Other ones:
Centipedes! Sorely missed.
Giant Ants! A classic low-level monster.
Nycaloth - the only major Yugoloth that got skipped. Annoyingly, they *did* sculpt one, but the wings were too big -- hopefully we'll see it again with the new box size.

A Cloaker would have been nice as well, though I can see how it might have been difficult.

I used to jones for a centipede, then I realized one day I could simply mount a Kreepy Kritters rubber centipede on a base and I'd be there.

We got a Fiendish T-Rex (Giants of Legend) and an Ankylosaurus/"Macetail Behemoth" (Desert of Desolation). We could have used more, though.

I really don't understand why the rust monster never made it. Seems like a total no-brainer to me, especially since it's protected IP.

ps - A few of the things on your lists did make it in this go around: Living Flaming Sphere, Blue Wyrmling, Ogre & White Dragon Zombies, T-Rex, Ankylosaur (Macetail Behemoth), and Deinonychus (Clawfoot Rider) off the top of my head.

Gem Dragons I had also expected after they worked with the simi-clear colored plastics.


With that mind- A Darksun Crystal Spider would be highly required!
