What do you feel at the table?

When you sit down at the table for a night of gaming, what is the most common emotion you have? Are you concerned with how it will go? Content to be hanging out with friends? Excited by the possibilities? Afraid if that one guy will start things again?

What do you feel at the table?

Excited because I get to GM for the awesome lads and lasses that help make LDRC what it is!

Thankful because of the continued growth and success of my club!

Contemplative because each game I host is never the same and I'm always thinking of how I can do one better for the next game.

Relieved when I manage, somehow, to pull it off so well that the game goes off without a hitch!

Happy when I see my players enjoying themselves to the fullest and really getting into my games so much so they can't wait until next week rolls around!

Exhausted because after a hard afternoon's GM'ing for on-average 10+ players for around three hours, I've had a pretty thorough -- but incredibly awesome -- mental workout that funnily enough makes me want to push that little bit harder next time to make sure I always give it my very best!

Friends. I could be at the pub with them or having a BBQ with them or seeing a movie or a band with them. The game is secondary.

In my games so far, it's always like "What the hell is going to happen next?!" so I'm always excited and waiting to see what the DM came up with and what the other players are going to do.
