Hmm...interesting that of the previously existant prestige classes that are being put into the DMG none of them got a great many votes accept for the Duelist.

I'm firmly on the fence until I actually see the product. So far alot of 3.5 sounds great but I still have alot of questions yet to be answered.

Oh man, I was hoping for a Jack Daniels style poll complete with belittling commentary for dissenting viewpoints. ;)

Well, I voted for a few things. DR looks nice now, not so fond of the PrCs included, Bard skill points and spell list expansion as well as more Bardic Music effects is nice, but not so thrilled about spell failure going away for them. All in all from what I've seen of 3.5 so far I am feeling positive about it. Hmmm... Not much else to add except I'll wait and see the rest.

I was overjoyed to hear about no spell failure for bards. its been a house rule in like all the campaigns I've been in. I just hope it means they are making bard spells verbal only

Interesting. There are more things on your poll that I actually dislike than I like. It's by a pretty slim margin, though.

Like:
Damage Reduction
Ranger Skills
Bard Skills
Monk Ki Strike
Bard expanded spells list
Duelist in DMG

Dislike:
No spell failure for Bards
TWF and Archery for Ranger (although it beats just TWF, so it's relative)
Sorcerers can't quicken
No new skills for Sorcerers
Mystic Theurge (but not for balance reasons)
Red Wizard in DMG
Weapon Familiarity

Anything not listed, I'm indifferent to.

Some of the things I dislike will be pretty easy to ignore (Mystic Theurge, Red Wizard). Some will be more problematic as I'll have to explicitly house-rule them (Weapon Familiarity, which is probably the worst idea I've heard from 3.5). Others I may warm to, but really don't understand why they were added (no Bardic spell failure).

Still, the good seems to outweigh the bad. Besides, one of the major things I'm looking forward to is better explanations of troublesome issues which can't be judged at all until the books come out.

Because theirs not a lot of reason why bards would have non-verbal components to their spells, and so they can actualy take advantage of their armor profciency without suffering the chance of totaly losing other class abilities :-)
