Don't pay attention to that walking monodrone. That's a picture of the lowest of the modrons. They look a lot different as they go up in rank. There're physical descriptions of them on the D&D Website, just look for the Manual of the Planes Web Enhancement.
Though the pic with the decaton and monodrones is nice. Decaton is the lowest of the Hierarch Modrons. From lowest to highest is: monodrone, duodrone, tridrone, quadrone, pentadrone (all base modrons) and then decaton, nonaton, octon, septon, hexton, quinton, quarton, tertian, secundus (hierarch modrons) and then the one and the prime, Primus, the leader.
Don't let these people fool you into thinking their silly or cute. Apparently, they forgot what the hierarchs look like.
