"What do you usually play?"

I don't have a usually. I'm currently playing D&D 3.5 (for the first time as a player), before that I was running it as a DM on an online game, before that I was running D20 CoC, before that Cyberpunk, before that Vampire, before that AFMBE, before that D&D 3.0, before that 2300AD, before that AD&D 2nd Ed (as a player), before that Cyberpunk (as a player)...

Don't do "usually".

Mostly DnD 3.5. (Mystara, FR, Kalamar, Eberron, Harn, Planescape)

But also Conan, Pendragon, Cthulhu, d20 Modern, d20 Swashbuckling Adventures, d20 Slaine, Deadlands, and probably a few more I can't remember. ;)

Bagpuss - I actually live on the Wirral too (Wallasey) but game (and mostly post) from Liverpool.

Regards,
Mortis

This poll is shocking I tell you! shocking. Vast majority of people on a general d20 board playing the latest edition of their game? I'm shocked!

I'm only in one campaign at the moment and it's 3.5. I'm playing a cleric, which I always enjoy.

But I should add that I'm an edition-whore. I always go with the latest edition of games that I play even when previous editions worked just fine ( AD&D1e/2e, I'm looking at YOU!)

95-98% of what I've played has been D&D. Currently that's 3.5.

I played champions 17 years ago for a summer that same GM then ran us through what I think was gurps but we didn't have character sheets. We just had the barest details about what our characters were and we gave the GM the order in how we thought our stats were from highest to lowest. It was kind of cool now knowing exactly what we were capable of (just like real life)

I played in a Rifts game a couple of years ago but the GM was awful, or maybe it was the system or probably both.

I enjoy D&D, I think I'll keep it.

Currently, 3.5, but I don't know that we usually play that. We've also played d20 Modern, d20 Call of Cthulhu and other d20 games in the last year or two.

Depends on what "usually" means.

If you look at the past month, then it would be 3.5. I'm a player in diaglo's OD&D game, but I'm on hiatus for about 6 weeks while I coach my son's baseball team. I still manage to get in an online 3.5 game about once per month, and continue to play in Olgar Shiverstone's 3.5 game when he makes it in to town.

But if you look at the past year, I'm playing OD&D about every other weekend, so I've played it more in the past year than I have 3.5.

I havent actually gotten to play in ages. A while back I ran a very small game which was a fusion of 3.0 and 3.5 with lots of Unearthed Arcana variants.

I hope to soon run an Arcana Unearthed/Evolved-D&D 3.x fusion game.

I wouldnt be terribly interested in un-modified strictly by the book D&D of either variety, I would prefer a heavily house ruled 3.0/3,5 fusion.

And I really like Arcana Unearthed/Evolved...I'm surprised its not up there.

I didnt vote since none of the options really fit.
