What do you want to see in a new magazine?

I didn't get mine, but then again, I don't think I got confirmation that I was added to the mailing list. :(

So, how is it? Anyone care to give a capsule review?

With Regards,
Flynn

There were 13 people who weren't confirmed. It is a strange process that is beyond the scope of this thread. You may have been one of those. E-mail me at c.e.rocco@comcast.net and I will make sure you are in and get the first newsletter.

Normally I guess I would be offended that you would mention the competition in my thread, but I guess since I have a link to their site on my web-stie, it is hard to berate you. :D :p

Kobold Quarterly is good, better than I would have thought. I guess Wolfgang's years of working for WOTC is paying off. :) ;)

Very gracious of you. I wouldn´t have posted this if not his description fit KQ so good. Also you can probably pick up some good hints from it for your own publication.

I´ll give Dragonroots a look...

I don't know if it was in this thread or another, but I did mention thanks to Wolfgang. I spoke with him over the phone and he saved me a ton of time and money by answering a lot of questions he didn't really have too. In fact, he is our first subscription subscriber, even though I don't have a price or solid subscription plan in place just yet. Actually, I think him and I think a lot alike.

In case people are wondering I am posting Newsletter #0 here. Something wonky happened in the formatting when I sent it out to those who signed up on the web-site. So, it is better formated and ready to read. Enjoy.

Has Dragon Roots fallen flat? I keep checking the site periodically but nothing seems to have changed and I've not seen any news about it on ENWorld.

I for one am still very interested if you still plan on publishing it.
