What do you want to see in the fourth Adventure Path?

Definately 1-20.

Awhile back with the start of 3.5 they did the "Incursion" articles in both mags. I wouldnt mind seeing an invasion-based AP.

The Slavers returning would be fantastic as well, maybe even ending in the Underdark like the Night Below did (or the D1-3 series, without Q1).

A "Return of Dragotha" (or Ember if you want to go with living dragons) type, part Red Hand-like with Dragotha assembling vast armies, and ultimately assembling the largest flight of dragons ever seen trying to conquer the known world.

Those are my choices. :) But keep 'em 1-20.

Thanks. That was what I wanted to know.

How far into Savage Tide are they?
I believe they're up to the second part (of a projected 12), though I personally only have the first.

how about having demons in AP4! they haven't really had enough involvement in the APs so far. ;)

Orcs, Orcs, Orcs. An adventure path where favored enemy orcs is huge would be great.

actually, that has a whole lot of potential, and orcs are classic villans which are not overused like drow. ;) orcs can take class levels, so they can be challenges at any level. you could involve the orcish gods somehow, maybe even expand on the pantheon.

I'd love to see the elemental planes in focus. And no, no "actually it's Zuggtmoy", no "actually it's Iuz" and no "actually it's Tarzidun". And no, "actually it's Pazzrael", "actually it's Shar" and "actually it's the Overlord of Flumph" either. Can we for once have elemental evil as actual BBEG?

yeah, that would be cool too. :) the evil princes have had plenty of time to establish themselves as BBEG overlords, but have had very little attention as such. about the only module i can think of where they did such was The Egg of the Phoenix. the good princes have had even less attention, so they could use some involvement as well. it would even tie into AP2 a bit, since Ogremoch had tangential involvement in that, and some input from a recent article in Dragon written by someone or other. ;)

(in Napoleon Dynamite voice) Yes, and no dang pirates. GOSH!

Intrigue, political or criminal, would be very, very cool, as would a horror theme. The X-Files with swords and armor.

I would love to see the “Obsidian Eye” adventure from a Dungeon a year or two ago, become an AP. That would make my group very happy for that was one of there favorite adventure.

Also I love to see an AP with the githanki. There a good set up for a big war with dragons.

Also I am one to say I’d like to see an AP not going all the way to LV 20, to keep things form always having to be the big bad demon at the end.

I'd like to see an AP that played out like an Arthurian campaign. Rise and fall of a kingdom, wars and rumors of wars. Violence and betrayal. Barring that something like the slave lords would still make me drool. Just stay away from the gods, demons, devils, planes, and epic levels. I guess you could sum it up with "traditional fantasy."

Agreed. I'd like to see more character and plot development and more NPC's that are memorable. Having a big munchkind battle with other munchkins just doesnt' do it for me anymore. Whoopdeeedooo, you kill another god..you kill another demon lord. We can do that on any given computer game. How about some continuing memorable stuff for non-epic levels. Afterall, numerous polls have shown that people's favorite levels of play are between 5th-12th.

Not saying that there should be high level adventure path's, but if you're going to do epic AP's, start them at about 10th and go from there. Maybe you could link all those high level adventures in every dungeon that aren't used as much.

Cater to your majority (maybe I'm in the minority), but like one of my old players noted: "Not every campaign has to go to epic level."

I'm with you!

Oops, not entirely with you! :)

The upper end is the part of an AP I would tend to find a way to avoid, most likely, or rush through in order to get it over with.

I have nothing against planehopping, though.

How about pregenerated character selections as an addition? They wouldn't "have" to be used, but if you've got 8-12 pregen's. The artwork could reflect them..who are the people in the current artwork btw?
