What does orc blood do for halforcs?

Don't forget Orcbane weapons or Arrows of Orc Slaying :)

Basically, in the Core Rules, there's no advantage.

-Hyp.

If the only thing (in the core books at least) for orc blood is to get slayed then why bother having it if it's only a disadvantage?

In all our games 3.0 and 3.5, I'm the only one who ever played a 1/2 orc.

I don't know why, must have been drunk at character creation.

You'll never catch us doing that ever again.

I was playing a warrior type (low will save). 1/2 orc have a -2 on wis. I was playing this big rough 1/2 orc fighter-barb, who always ran away screaming like a little girl when there was a fear effect from a critter, while the cleric and archer would look at me go and think "WTF ??!".

1/2 orc warriors are the biggest cowards. And that goes against type, if you know what I mean.

Halforcs have a -2 on wisdom or your char had that?

Thought they had -2 Int, -2 Cha.

Saw some halforcs in action even though my campaign has a low halforc content :D.
They rocked the dancefloor. Especially bbn1/clrX rock as melee monsters.

Edit: I have some houserules about itemcrafting... adding restrictions to a weapon (such as "only wieldable by orcs" or stuff) make the weapon cheaper, not more expensive. Thus I do have quite a lot of restricted magic items in the game. Adds to the low magic feel if nearly noone can use magical stuff and gives rogues and bards a nice edge... if not for my UMD mishap houserules... ah well.

Uh.. yeah. What you said. I did have a low wis and it was some time ago, so I got my facts mixed up.

Carry on...

Half-orc fighters kick butt.

Half-orc barbarians kick butt. And can carry more stuff.

Half-orc monks kick butt. And can carry LOTS more stuff.

That strength goes a long way. :)

But wood elves are NASTY! :)
