i enjoy mixing my artwork with my hobbies, and have a pretty good response on the die roller i made barrend nobeard.(i am currently making some others for ither board members i will not mention, cause i don't know if they are gifts) and i am pretty proud of the die i have made for arouragyps, which should mail soon.

i am wondering what else i could make for the rpg enthusiast?

normally i hate when folks hit me with "you know what i think you should make?!" ("that's why i spent all that time aquiring the skills and methods, just so i could make what YOU want ma'am" ) but i am here begging ideas.

i have considered several items, most won't appeal to many folks. so pass on what you can think of, maybe i can crank out some prototypes for our mutual enjoyment :)

You know those little rakes they use in casinos to collect your chips from across the table? Something like that could be handy to collect your stray dice without having to get out of your seat and reach across the table. Maybe in the shape of a dragon claw attached to a long handle? Heck, you could even make a backscratcher along the same lines. :D

Soda-can holder to combat spillage. Something with some weight and a nice wide base. Could be in the shape of a volcano, a bunch of corpses or clawing hands, etc.

A pincer for the mini's that way you don't have to stand up move all your stuff lean over the tabel possibly bumping it spilling soda and messing up die rolls. Kind of makes me sound lazy huh.

How about getting one of those toy "hand on a stick" thingies. They have a grip on the end you can squeeze, and it opens and closes a little plastic hand at the end.

Bet you could make that look pretty damn nice with some polymer clay...

Hmm. Simple thought, not terribly exciting - a dice holder.

Those of us with active gaming tables, or with cats (or small children) have a problem. Leaving dice free on the table means they get knocked on the floor a lot. Putting them in a dice bag means you gotta keep digging them out.

A low-sided bowl, however, would be ideal for keeping them visible and easily reached when you need them, but corralled in one place when they are idle.

A bookstand, so you can rest a DMG open on it like the archetypal wizards spellbook and do away with the DM's screen :D

several decent ideas here, and i appreciate them all, but i think arwink has really sparked my imagination with the whole bookholder thing......
