What fake gaming terminology does your group use?

Our groups have usually gone with the obvious.

"P-Hub"
The Monster Manual and Dungeon Master's Guide are abbreviated MM and DMG and are described as such by every player I've ever met. (ie "hand me the Dee Em Gee..."), however in a departure from most gamers we don't pronounce PHB as Pee Ach Bee we say P-Hub. I'm not sure why we pronounce it instead of phonetically sound it like the others, but it stuck.

Also "I Got A Rock!" is what we usually say when we roll a 1. It comes from the Charlie Brown Halloween special where instead of candy all CB gets are rocks.

"Stealth Mode" is usually used to declare a sneak by a rogue. (DM: what are you doing? Rogue": I'm going into stealth mode and moving for a Sneak Attack.) Occasionally referred to as "cloaking", especially if the rogue in question has a Cloak of Elvenkind or Cloak of Shadows.

One word we use is "Gaines" (named after a guy we used to game with in college). To Gaines means to bring something to the attention of the GM that kind of screws the party. It probably is right and correct but it still screws the party.

Example:

"Man that was one tough fight! Ok well I'll use the last three charges of the Cure Serious Wounds wand..."

"Um...not to Gaines us but didn't that get destroyed by the Red Dragon Breath Critical two weeks ago?"

Here on En world there is a term that i am sure no one has ever heard of: to get themselves a bunch of xp on a single post is to get a Weem load of xp,
to have themselves used in a photo shop pic by said en world personality of Weem is to get weemed,
or if you get a multiple of a tenth of weem's xp is to have 'x' deci-weems of xp or to be within a deci-weem of xxxx.

I've said this here before, but in my groups when you do maximum damage on your die roll(s), it's a "ghetto crit."

We call this a "hobo crit".

Being incapacitated in some form was "gibbled"

An unfortunate typo during an online 3e game replaced the word Prone with Pr0n. Forever afterwards, you got a Pr0n bonus whenever someone was on the ground.

Playing English RPG rules in Swedish can lead to some mighty strange parlance. Applying Swedish grammar to English role-playing terms can be hilarious when you step back and think about what you say.

One low-humor example. In the Dominion boardgame, one of the things you accumulate during a turn is "buys", the number of cards you can bye in a turn. Only this is pronounced the same as "bajs" in Swedish, meaning feces. So, over the turn, you can accumulate 3 bajs - literally 3 pieces of - which is just the kind of low humor that can cause a stupid giggle attack when you realize what you've just been saying. Especially if its late and you've had a few beers.

All non-threatening communication is officially "diplomacizing"

"Ghetto Crit" - When a maximum damage roll is made.

"Garr!" - when a 3 is rolled (in honor of a character who rolled more 3's than anyone I've ever seen)

"Dew Me" - the official request for someone to grab them a soda (only for Dew); Teabag (iced Tea) and D.P. Me (dr. pepper) have been used, as well.


Those are all I can think of off the top of my head.
