Yeah, having maybe 2 of 6 symptoms isn't going to cut it.
Really, 1 symptom, and 2 half-symptoms.

Or is this one of those useless posts trying to bait people into taking it seriously?

It depends on what I'm in the mood for, I suppose. I like pretty much all of the various types at various times.

The Batman type, though, is probably my favorite. Good enough to do all the impossible things we like fictional heroes to do, but doing so with the full knowledge that a lucky mook with a Saturday Night Special can kill him instantly.

Of course, it all depends on the writers. I lost interest in 'Batman the Psychopath' when lazy cheap writers who'd read too much into their Psi 101 text books started going down that route. More and more, they've pulled away from that lately. (Of course, the best Batman in recent times to me was the two years or so Dick Grayson was under that hood.

I just can't stand the uber super heroes. I don't wanna read some nerd's wish fulfillment story. Er, do I don't. That said, I think they need something beyond 'rich dood' so I like a li'l powah here and there, yanno?

I'd still like to see the movie Grayson made--the fan trailer where Batman is killed, and Dick Grayson has to find out by whom and take over.
That, to me, would be far more interesting than anything Nolan attempted

Sounds horrendously dull and contrived. Not to mention disrespectful to the Batman franchise.

Anyways, I'd rather see a Birds of Prey movie. Or, now that I think about it, Nightwing starting in Bludhaven would make a great movie or two.

Also: OP: Nick Fury has a super power. He's immortal.

Did you see the fanfilm? Yeah, it was only a trailer, but seriously, check it out.

Mint and berry, yet with a tasty, satisfying crunch.

I don’t have a personal preference; really it just depends on whether or not the story was good. I do think you get better stories with normal humans and super-powered characters, simply because the ultra-powered characters don’t have that how are they going to win aspect, it’s more how long until they punch their way to victory against the previously unknown cosmic threat. But sometimes they are really well written, so they’re worth reading.

Anyway, leaned normal humans, because Batman: TAS is better than everything for me.
