What games or game systems do you miss playing?

Ohh what a great thread, lets see I miss:

DC Heroes - Played in a great campaign under this system, lasted a couple years and I learnt a lot on how to run a campaign from my GM (Thanks Mike).

Dragon Warriors - Really obscure RPG, published by Corgi Books in 6 volumes the size of paperback novels. I still have 4 of the books. Combat was fast and furious and some of the spells... wow were they fun to cast! Hecatomb dropped you down 2 levels to cast it, but it slew EVERYTHING in a 100' radius around the caster! Now thats Epic!

Heroquest - I loved this game, had every expansion for it. Still chide myself sometimes for selling it off a few years back, what was I thinking??

If I had to pick something that I have fond memories of playing, but I no longer play, I would say Champions.

But in truth I am very happy with 3.x, and with diaglo's OD&D campaign. For some reason, fantasy just seems to proper genre for RPG for me. Maybe it is because I played D&D for so long before I knew there were other options, so it is just ingrained in me.

Another vote for TORG. I still play it on occasion (might play this weekend but probably not)

Also, I miss the Birthright setting.

Let's see...

Call of Cthulhu: Haven't played it since the mid-90's when I was in high school. We never did the creepy, really, but we did do the go-crazy and stay alive as long as you can type one-shots. Immensely fun!

Mechwarrior: Played both the 2nd and 3rd editions a bit, but we had issues keeping campaigns going. Still, a lot of fun and I love the universe, which I'd love to explore again.

Shadowrun: My favorite game that I don't really get to play anymore. At most, I get to play when I go up to Boston and run a game for my friends there, maybe once or twice a year, plus a bit when I go back home for visits, plus I'll probably continue to run a game at the MD-DC-VA Game Days. These occasional nibbles make me miss it even more, I imagine.

I'll cast another vote for Marvel Super Heroes, and while I'm at it, OD&D, specifically, the old (Red) Basic Boxed set and the (Blue) Expert Rules.

Heh...we had several GM's while playing DCH, but by far and away my favorite was a guy named Mike, too.
