What happened between green ronin and osseum

I find it a shame, personally. I've already been ordering a few Mutants and Masterminds products I've been holding off on because of it.

And unlike a certain other game company I could mention, they arent begging for handouts.

That really stinks, I mean, green ronin is a wonderful publisher, and bad axe games which also was represented by osseum.

Yeah, they took me for, conservatively, well over $6,000.

But my freelancers are always paid on publication-- that is, around the time I send the books to the printer, at the very latest-- so the damage was limited to, well... me.

Basically that $6000 was my gift to the hobby I love. :)

Interestingly though, we do not see people coming out of the woodwork to say that Green Ronin deserved it. Nice to see that people don't allow their personal views to color their reactions.

Food for thought. Although, to be entirely honest, Green Ronin isn't begging for handouts either, so, there's a good explanation for the lack of ire.

Not only that, but they also have a notable lack of outcries about the quality of their products. Not that I mean anyone particular.

Ouch.

Dude, 6,000 dollars is more money than I have ever even had at one time ( I am a college student) What a gift for your love of the game. I do think that this guy deserves justice. Now I read in dragon once how rpg's are gaining popularity in prison because it is a safe and intellectual game. I wonder what prison would be like for the guy who hurt these guys hobbies. I think that this guy needs prosecuted, and most of all, needs found.

I am not advocating violence, but this guy does need justice. I mean, at least what it sounds like, he even left his own company hanging, so obviously it wasn't everyone at osseum. It is so bad that someone could exploit people in such a way.

In my experiance, besides all the griping, gamers are some of the most trusting and accepting people I have met, and so it is horrible that something happened to them, and even to the companies that do represent gamers by providing products for them.

Grrrr.

Lets try and catch whoever did this

First time I see anyone smiling as he speaks of losing 6 grand.

Still, my condolences, and I hope your business will run well enough that you won't miss it.
