Satyr and Yuan-ti pureblood have advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects. Lizardfolk have natural armor and some cool features but previously had suboptimal stat distribution. I also think the aasimar and the genasi are sufficiently flavorful that the additional flexibility will see them used more often.

Yeah the optimization king question and “what races will see an uptick in use” question overlap, but they aren’t the same question, for sure.

Optimization-wise, yeah it’s gonna be races with more stat bumps and with lots of proficiencies.

But we will also see an increase in flavorful races with unhelpful or limiting stat bumps, like Goliaths, Gnomes, and races with strong limited use abilities and thus strong mechanical distinction.
