What I love about this game

Everytime I see a new feat, PrC, or critter, I just want to scream. I've got enough tinkertoys. I want articles that give me ideas on how to put them together in cool ways.

Amen to that my friend. Shows us the ways to work with the various combinations for what already exists and we'll be happy DMs.

I got some really good wine and... well, I better run an Eberron campaign to find a D&D fit for my LEGO Star Destroyer! (No socks and I'm 34! Woohoo!)

Walnuts can be Vecna's... wait, this is a family board, right? Anyway, they're powerful artifacts that will allow the "wielder" to create progeny across the land, and those progeny are born half-fiendish spawn that reach adult maturity quickly and are obedient to "Dad!"

It is true D&D does make get inspired by the oddest of sources. Now every time I buy a book for Rifts I don't want to use it to play Palladium's game I want to convert it to D&D.
I also find Shakespeare's play's make interesting adventures.
