I just double-checked and it is none.Which class has a dead level?
Ya know I do not have a problem with that, I never liked the bags of magic items approach of older games.Money is useless, atunement means most magic items are useless.
I guess you're right. I wonder why I don't really care when I level up in D&D then? Maybe it's just a me thing.Don't they? I mean, I would have to look to be certain, but it seems like each level you get one or more of the following:
Not just you - I find it hard to get excited about most of the things that happen on a level up.I guess you're right. I wonder why I don't really care when I level up in D&D then? Maybe it's just a me thing.
Yeah, that's very unfortunate, not least because metamagic and/or Sorcery Points are pretty much the ideal hook on which to hang the defiler/preserver split for Dark Sun.sorcerers being the metamagic class. actually, no, metamagic being a class gimmick at all. why is this a class gimmick? why not just let it be a thing casters can get access to, whether through feats or some other mea--OH, RIGHT, BECAUSE YOU MADE THOSE OPTIONAL.
True, but that doesn't mean that X is good or useful. That many DMs don't read the 5e DMG for... reasons... (to be fair, though, it really is not all that well organized) then complain the game doesn't have a way to handle X when... X is in the DMG.
I think protocol states I should duck at this point, yes?
No, I get the feeling myself.I guess you're right. I wonder why I don't really care when I level up in D&D then? Maybe it's just a me thing.
In general I agree. However, at the risk of enforcing a particular culture in the game some historically based recommendations would be useful. Part of the problem is that I think that money factors a lot into this.I have never needed rules for this kind of thing. I would actually prefer that it stays in the GMs hands.
Metamagic Adept is in Tasha'sit might be possible to introduce a weak form of metamagic via feats.
