For example, Kurzweil, Penrose, and many others. I mention these two professors because they have popular books that might be more approachable. But if you are able to wade thru the scientific literature, it is worth the read.

Defining Psionics as a kind of Divine power, is sensible, especially with respect to game terms and mechanics.

I'm familiar with Kurzweil and Penrose, and I know they have made some limited speculations on this front (much like Einstein and others have sometimes spoken of God). But if you think that these speculations are equivalent to experimental discoveries, or that they represent the consensus among quantum physicists, then, well, to be blunt, you're in kind of a glass house with regards to scientific literacy, and probably shouldn't be throwing any more stones.

And what I and now @lowkey13 have said still stands: this has nothing to do with the relationship between psionics and the divine in D&D. So unless you have something further to say about that, then I guess we're done.

The statements that I made in this thread are accurate.

Kuzweil at MIT, focuses on the acceleration computer processing, the emergence of artificial intelligences, and its implication visavis human persons. He is a part of the discussions concerning quantum mechanics, especially as to how they theoretically relate to artificial consciousness.

Regarding D&D, the Cleric is the power of symbols and domains, the Paladin is the power of ethical values, and both of these are aspects of ideals, thought, and mind.

The Psion is the power of personal consciousness, is an aspect of the soul, and likewise belongs in the category of Divine.

The Astral Plane associates with all of these Divine aspects, including the archetypal domains and the astral projection of the mind.
