A few weeks ago I bought Free League's The Electric State. Last week I received my copy of Mythic Bastionlands from the Kickstarter.

POD versions of Unearthed Arcana and Fiend Folio for 1E, to replace some well-worn, dogeared copies.

Interesting that you had a dogeared copy of the FF. It brings back an amusing memory of a time when a friend and I attended one of the Gen Con auctions in the late '80s.

He and I were not too impressed with the fiend folio when it was first published. There were a few good entries such as the death knight and revenant, but the gamers in our group were generally unimpressed with the vast majority of new critters. Based upon what we saw at the auction, this view was apparently shared by a lot of other gamers at the time. There were plenty of 1e PHBs, DMGs, MM, and MMII (released 2 years after the FF) books being auctioned off that were falling apart. The corners were fuzzy and sometimes the covers were held on with duct tape. Auctioneer Frank Mentzer would generously describe such copies as being in "well-loved" condition. There would also occasionally be well-used copies of DDGs, UAs, OAs, DSGs, and WSGs. But whenever a FF came up for auction, they would usually be described as, "a Fiend Folio, barely used", "a Fiend Folio in like-new condition", another Fiend Folio in near-mint condition", here we've got a Fiend Folio with a cover that still creaks when opened", and so on.

Couple of days ago picked up the Bundle of Holding containing Ironsworn and its associated books; already had Ironsworn but 15 bucks for all the others was a deal. I doubt I'd ever use any of them, but like the core book, it was interesting reading a fairly crunchy approach to RPGing that is assumed to be GMless more often than not (and often solo).

I picked these up today at the Half Price Books near my house. $14.99 each, which seemed pretty good to me. I love the old Earthdawn stuff and the dragon book has some cool unique dragon bad guys.

Huh. Don't think I ever saw the Book of Exploration back in my ED 1e days. Or is that a reprint of some kind?

Oh nope- it’s an original. Below it says Legends of Earthdawn: Volume Two. I remember the first volume for sure!
