I'm a huge fan of Eclipse, and think it's one of the best books ever written for the d20 System. I also love The Practical Enchanter (I think that's the one you meant) for its spell templates alone, though I also get a kick out of the magic item cost modifiers and spell research tables.Before that, the books for Eclipse: The Codex Persona.
Haven't figured out Foundry yet. I kindof regret the Eclipse magic book. Haven't had much use for it. But I liked the others.
Jeez. I gotta admit this kind of almost makes me want to run Shadowdark. Not quite though, I know my players will not vibe with torch-countdown deal and that it's not quite crunchy enough, and whilst it's probably trivial to fix the former, the latter is probably impossible to solve.
