Well, thanks for the info and debate. Sounds like I sparked a few nerves with the question.Pierced said:whats the difference between the $119 dollar one and the $10 dollar one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/09...4620-6968769?_encoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=283155 nevermind paperback book heh
I think Monte does a lot of good in the RPG world and he has a lot of great ideas and products, however, I just have a problem swollowing $119. Now, if I bought one for $10 and liked it enough, I might buy the full version.
When is this thing being released, at GenCon?
Any idea of a pdf cost? I would hate to order something for $120 and not like it once it came. Viewing a pdf, while not preferable, at least lets you go through the whole thing and test it out a bit.MojoGM said:That $10 one looks like the comic book, not the book itself.
The full $119 version will be available as seperate PDFs, but not as a paperback.
Cool, I am downloading the player guide now. I'll page through that and then see if I need to buy a chapter or two for $6 a piece.Mazlo said:The book is being released at GenCon. Street date is August 10.
You can download the Ptolus Player's Guide for free:

You can also buy PDFs of the first two chapters of the big book. See if you like them and then make a decision.
