I voted social event and other. The other is a mixture of problem solving, amateur dramatics/acting and storytelling. With the DM also having aspects of writing and project planning.

I don't really regard RPGing as similar to consuming a movie or book as those are fairly solitary and not interactive experiences. I can see the daydream side as something where you are playing your character.
 

I voted for everything but the good book. Because the sorts of games I've played in don't quite make 'good book' for me. They'd make good movies (with the aircraft crashing into things, exploding segways, and the hot half-orc man-love oh sweet lord my eyes), but a book like that isn't my definition of 'good'.

Of course, it's possible to do a campaign that is more book-friendly. But that, to my circle, would probably require a bit of railroading. And that's not a problem - we're having too much fun elsewhere to really care.
 

Social event, because you get together on the table with a bunch of great people and have fun.

Personal daydream. You can be someone else without being charged for impersonating ;)
